Christian Castillo,

Christian Castillo lives a life powered by motion—from flying planes to fixing bikes.

Born in Chile, he joined the Air Force at 15 and served 11 years as a pilot and logistics officer. After earning his MBA in the U.K., he built a global corporate career leading multimillion-dollar projects across four continents. He later settled in Minnesota with his wife and their three kids, trading fighter jets for bicycles.

Today, Christian leads Free Bikes 4 Kidz (FB4K) as its National Executive Director. He helps thousands of kids across the country get bikes and the joy that comes with them. Known for his big-picture vision and hands-on style, he brings energy to everything he does—whether expanding a nonprofit or tuning a derailleur.

Christian is also an artist who creates original and commissioned portraits, animal studies, and impressionist seascapes. His work reflects his love for people, movement, and the places that shape us.

A lifelong cyclist and community builder, Christian believes a bike can change a life—and he’s made it his mission to give more kids that chance.
